Orthopaedic trauma includes fractures (broken bones) and soft tissue injuries (ligaments and tendon injuries)

Dr Ramawat has special interest in trauma surgery and have extensive experience in this area. He has spent 3 years at Royal Price Alfred Hospital as a trauma fellow where he performed a large number of trauma cases. He has 14 years of experience in orthopaedics trauma surgery. His approach towards trauma cases is based upon extensive experience and evidence base. He is heavily involved in trauma teaching junior surgeons at the public hospitals.

He manages fractures of upper limb, lower limb, paediatric fractures and complex fractures. He has special interest in complicated fractures such as non-union (not healed) malunion (healed incorrectly) and deformity correction.
